Life cycle

I was all but a child

when huge decisions were mine to make

I had to grow up way too fast

and make minimal mistakes

Mistakes who defined me as an adult

Mistakes who will haunt me forever

Mistakes that I always swear I will never make again

How I wish I was a little more clever

But I have to preserve what good is left

of what makes me the person I am now

even if it's no more than a bit of string

I have to tie the bow somehow
