Little girl, only 5ft 3

grazed knees, sore feet

on a silent night

walking down the street

Little did she know

even if so perfect is the snow

little feet still leave prints

crushing it nice and slow

Footsteps stay behind us

in memory of where we've been

to show the path to the present
